US Wool Blanket

Loved these blankets when I was in the Army (especially when I was stationed in Germany and went to the field!!) and still love them now in my home environment. Great addition to any backpacking or camping kit, but I also keep one in the trunk of my car, in case I encounter someone in an accident who's on fire, or is cold and needs to keep warm. Thank you Fort Bragg Surplus for carrying these little gems....and new at that!!

For several decades, beginning when I was 10 and went on my first Boy Scout campout, I've used a couple of USGI wool blankets that were older than I am. They lasted for a long time. Finally, I needed to break down and get some new ones, and FBS has the best deal going anywhere on the internet. These wool blankets have the highest percentage wool of any olive green military blanket, made in USA, genuine military issue at the lowest price! Also, these are insanely soft, not scratchy like older genuine military wool blankets. I'll likely end up buying a couple more in the coming year.

Warm wool, very tightly knit so it is durable. Scratchiest wool I've ever felt, so use it in layers.

Blankets are in perfect condition and best of all--not scratchy! Will work perfectly as an emergency blanket.

Authentic and large. A must have survival item for any natural disasters. Escape any burning building or stay warm wet and many other uses. A must have!
