Norotos Universal NVG Shroud

The shroud is light and well-made. It also includes all the hardware you need to install it. I am disappointed because there is wobble between the shroud and my brand-new FTO Lo-Sto mount. I feel like there shouldn't be any play between Norotos products. I was able to mitigate the wobble with some electrical tape very easily, but I shouldn't have had to in the first place.

Ever since the first time I put on my MICH with a NVG bracket, I've had to be careful not to bang myself in the brow with the arms that that wrap around the bottom rim of the helmet. Even with using the pads to help protect me, I disliked the old design. When 3 hole NVG brackets came out, they are great, and don't cause that problem. However, in almost 20 years, getting a 3 hole drilled helmet has been almost impossible. This bracket is universal, and was very easy to install, and only required the single screw. All hardware is included, and very clear instructions are given.

Product is standard issue. Arrived new in the packaging. Excellent price. Probably an overrun for a contract, or some supply clerk was ordered to liquidate excesses from the supply chain. At this price, you better buy them while they are still available.
